The Butler University Bassoon Reed Company (BUBRC) is a joint venture between the Jordan College of the Arts and the College of Business at Butler University in Indianapolis. The mission of the company is to provide business and bassoon students alike real-life business experience. All aspects of our business, from management to manufacturing, are run by Butler students. We strive to create high-quality, handmade reeds at an affordable cost to meet your needs as a bassoonist.

Butler University Double Reed Day! Sat, Jan 24, 2026, with special guests Claire Taylor, bassoon, and Abby Yeakle Held, oboe, and co-host Pamela Ajango. Free! Open to all double reed players plus their parents, teachers, etc. Come join us for a great day of double reed music, learning, and fun!
