'The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse' at Indiana Repertory Theatre
William has a cozy, familiar home in a boot in the barn. But when his cousin Monty takes him to the big, dangerous city, William learns to wade through plush carpets, climb hot water pipes and outwit mischievous mice. Where will his expedition take him next?
The IRT presents Exploring Stages for a fourth season. Exploring Stages is specifically designed for children aged 3-8 and includes pre- and post-show activities led by IRT artists to engage young minds and allow families to experience live theatre together.
Immediately after each performance, students will join an IRT teaching artist and cast members in various interactive learning activities designed to enhance their understanding of the play and the experience of live theatre. This post-show experience is FREE for any ticket holder and will last between 10 and 15 minutes.
The production includes ‘Storytime Seating’ where children are invited to sit cross-legged on carpet and enjoy the cast and characters up close. Parents can purchase a floor seat and watch the production while sitting with their children, or can purchase a seat along the back and side areas of the theatre.
Feb. 24 to Mar. 25: show times vary. $8-$20
