American Piano Awards The American Piano Awards discover, promote and advance the careers of young, American world-class jazz and classical pianists.

The American Piano Awards alternate between classical and jazz piano every two years and offer significant opportunities for American pianists, ages 18–30, to advance their careers. Each winner receives career support valued at over $200,000, which is tailored to the particular needs of the winner and includes a cash award, performance engagements, publicity and recording opportunities.

We're thrilled to announce a new prize partnership—The Bohemians Artist Residency & Robert A. Levinson and Patricia S. Levinson Arts Achievement Award, administered by The New York Community Trust.

The 2027 American Piano Awards and Cole Porter Fellowship winner will receive the award, valued up to $55,000 in the form of produced career assets. The award is directed and produced by Dustin Gledhill, Executive and Artistic Director of The Bohemians: New York Musicians' Club and devoted supporter of the American Piano Awards.

The Bohemians have long been advocates for performing artists. We're excited for them to join us in advancing young, world-class pianists!
