It’s that time of the year!!! The league will be hosting its annual meeting on September 15th. The annual meeting is the time when our good standing members may vote for new or returning board members. This year the league has many available spots open! This is a chance to join and make an impact within BDLL.
Becoming a board member is such a rewarding experience. We help shape not just ball players, but individuals who will impact our community throughout their lives. Being a board member involves attending monthly meetings, joining committees for different events, being Board Member of the Day while at the fields, along with specific position duties, and helping maintain the fields.
If you would like the opportunity to join and help shape the future of BDLL, please send an email to [email protected] no later than the end of the day of September 1st with your name and what position you would like to be listed on the ballot for. Every good standing member in our league will be allowed to vote for who they would like to see hold a board position for the 2026/2027 year who is listed on the ballot. Please reach out if you have any questions or would like more information about a particular board position. Positions start on October 1, 2026 and continue through September 30, 2028 as each board member has the choice to stay in their position for two years.
