From 10 people in a rented gym to 300 visits a week and our VERY OWN STUDIO?! 🥹💗
If you told me back in 2023 that this little idea would turn into all of THIS, I wouldn’t have believed you.
I wish I could go back and give past Jaelynn a big hug and tell her that some things just take time to build. I wish I could tell her to keep her chin up when only 1 person showed up to a big event or when another dance studio owner told me I was absolutely crazy trying to sell adult dance classes. I wish I could show her the finished beautiful studio when I was ghosted by so many landlords.
And I also wish I could
lean on future Jaelynn a little bit. I wonder if I’ll be able to keep affording rent as it increases year to year, and if I’ll ever be able to find a better work/life balance that’s not complete survival mode.
But for now, I’ll celebrate the 40 classes a week, my incredible team of instructors, and a community of adults who show up to dance, make friends, and have the BEST time doing it. 😭
