The Mud Creek Players is a volunteer nonprofit organization providing quality theatrical experiences to Indy's Lawrence Township and Geist communities. Welcome to the fan page for the Mud Creek Players, the oldest continuously operating community theatre organization in Marion County. We have a few openings for new R.A.T.S. (Really Awesome Theatre School) Camp counselors this coming June!

Our theatre camp counselors are volunteers. They are very hands on and work closely with our campers.

Some background in theatre is preferred. Looks great on a college application!

Investigating Your Cast 🔎 Meet Aaron Beal as Geoffrey Lestrade

This is Aaron Beal’s (Lestrade) first performance at Mud Creek,  he is honored to be working alongside such a talented cast and crew on this production of Miss Holmes. A graduate of Ball State University, Aaron’s previous performances include The Importance of Being Earnest and The Mousetrap at Buck Creek Players, and Almost, Maine at Westfield Playhouse. Aaron can also be seen in the film series “Celestial Misconduct” as Dr. Donovan Mulray and “Blastic” as Renfield. Thank you for coming to our show and for supporting live theatre. Text me and I’ll tell you who the killer is.

Investigating Your Cast 🔎 Meet Lark Green as Edwin Greener

Lark (they/them) is back on Mud Creek’s stage with a couple new accents. Previously sporting the Slavic intonation of Goralsky, Russian spy in Best Laid Plans, the rounded tones of 19th century England have proven to be a whole new challenge. They’ve had so much fun working with this incredible, goofy cast and crew, and they hope you have as much fun watching.

Investigating Your Cast 🔎 Meet Jennifer Poynter as Mrs. Featherstone

Jennifer is ecstatic to be back on the Mud Creek Stage after recently performing in 4Xmas. Some of her other past favorite roles include playing MJ in Inspecting Carol at Basile Westfield Playhouse, Mrs. Boyle in The Mousetrap at Mud Creek Players, Florence in The Curious Savage at Westfield Playhouse, four different characters in Almost, Maine at Mud Creek Theater, Bunny in Inlaws, Outlaws, and Other People (That Should Be Shot) at Mud Creek Theater, and Robert Anne in Nunsense II at The Belfry. When she’s not on stage she works as a Quality Expert Team Lead for IU Health. She would like to thank her director, Laney Moore, for giving her this wonderful opportunity, and her husband and daughter for supporting her love of theater.

Investigating Your Cast 🔎 Meet Jennifer Kaufmann as Dr. Anderson / Mrs. Hudson

Jennifer J. Kaufmann is excited to be back at Mud Creek, where she serves on the board. Jennifer graduated from Hope College, Holland, MI, in 2001 with a BA in Musical Theatre. She spent the next 5 years working with different theatre companies across the country, including Missoula Children’s Theatre and The Kentucky Shakespeare Festival. Jennifer had the privilege of teaching theatre to children all over the country as well as in Cuba, South Korea, and Japan. Moving to Indianapolis to attend graduate school at Marian University, Jennifer is currently working as an elementary virtual teacher with MSD Warren. Musical Credits: Meg March in Little Women, Janis in Hands on a Hardbody, Miss Scarlet in Clue, vocalist in Side by Side by Sondheim, Mary Ann in Gilligan’s Island, Eve/Louise in Ruthless!.
