Something spooky is brewing at Fonseca Theatre Company...

Ghouls & Giggles is a one-of-a-kind playwriting lab where young writers ages 10–17 will work alongside professional artists to create original spooky stories filled with mystery, mischief & imagination.

Participants will learn how ideas become theatre, develop their own creative voices, and collaborate with artists to bring their stories to life. The program culminates in a special performance on the Fonseca stage this October featuring their original work.

- Scholarships available
- No previous playwriting experience required
- Just bring your imagination

Fonseca Theatre Company is seeking a Choreographer, Lighting Designer, and Production Assistant for our upcoming musical production of Frida Libre. Rehearsals run June 23 – July 16. Performances run July 17 – August 2, with an additional student matinee performance (date TBD).

A vibrant bilingual musical for young audiences that reimagines the childhood of Frida Kahlo through the eyes of two unlikely friends; Alex, a shy boy with dreams of becoming a luchador & Frida, a bold, imaginative girl determined to be a doctor. When paired for a science project on butterflies, their journey unfolds into a whimsical tale of transformation, courage & the power of friendship.
