That’s it, Ladies and Gentlemen. The world premiere of “I Love My Zombie” has now come and gone. Today is bittersweet because I finally got some sleep, but the post-show depression has set in. (I waited until I got home to break down, of course)
I’ve said it before, but thanks to the World’s Most Dangerous Cast: Sydney Adams as Tammy, Brynn Lee as Michael, Lauren Lotzow as the Zombie Stage Hand, Robert Fimreite as Carl, Becky Schlomann as June, Ron May as Jimmy, Veronique Duprey as Maddie, Jerry Robbins as Sy, Natalie George as the Zombie Stage Crew, and David Muller as the Director.
Also, HUGE thanks to the one and only Sydney Jackson for being my right hand, Eric Matters for designing an incredible lighting display, Zach Catlin for not only sound design but original music, as well, Beth Fike for an amazing set design, and Adam Fike for making it look good on stage!
As always, thank you to Ian Hauer and all of The Hyperion Players crew for supporting us. JCC Indianapolis for providing the rehearsal space and Arts for Lawrence’s Theater at the Fort for welcoming us.
Finally, thank you to you, the community theater patrons, who came to the show and/or supported us through our GoFundMe campaign. We could not have done any of this without you!
It’s been life-changing and everything I dreamed of. Now, go buy a damn book…
