Volunteers are crucial in making this race happen! We need help with keeping runners safe, hydrated and motivated on the course, and at the Finish Line. Volunteers will be rewarded with:
Beer (21+)
RMP Race Credit
Please tell your friends and family to hang out with us to start their 4th of July off right.

The Firecracker 6 is on Tuesday July 4, 2023 to Monday July 31, 2023. It includes the following events: 6 Miler, Virtual 6 Miler, 6k, and Virtual 6k.

10th Annual Firecracker 6 presented by St. Vincent- Ascension is a 6-Mile & 6K Run/Walk through beautiful downtown Indianapolis. Start at the iconic City Market and travel through historical Fountain Square. Get a perfect view of Lucas Oil Stadium and finish with a photo-op of the Soldiers & Sailors Monument in the background; a perfect tour of the city.
