I have been doing events with the Museum of the Soldier since I was 3 months old. Unfortunately I am unable to make it this year but you can go! It is amazing to see so many military vehicles.

We have been pretty busy over at Pretty Funny Balloons! In May we made a balloon tree, filled with over 5,000 balloons. Also we have added stuffed animals to our balloons! Even putting the stuffed animals inside balloons! We have been working hard on our house. We are in the painting stage now, soon we will be done and moved in! Welcome to Pretty Funny Balloons!

Big News: We're changing our name and we'd love it if you'd like our new page, Facebook.com/prettyfunnyballoons

Why the name change? Well, when I started Christina's Balloon Creations, it was the perfect name. It was just me, a bag of balloons and a desire to make some awesome balloons in Northeast, Indiana. Well, along the way I met a awesome, talented balloon artist named Brian Getz and a few months ago he asked me to marry him. As we've gradually combined our businesses, we needed a name that encompassed what we do. Well I'm pretty and he's funny, so choosing a new name wasn't too hard.

As Pretty Funny Balloons, we'll still provide the same awesome balloon entertainment and decor you've come to expect, but we'll do it as a team. We'll be even more available to entertain at events in Indianapolis and all around Indiana and the country. We're entertaining in restaurants 5 nights a week and hope to expand into even more venues, all the while planning an awesome wedding (with a balloon wedding dress.)

Thanks for your support over the years. We look forward to working with you again as we begin this new journey.

Here is what I have been up to lately! Made a tree, arch, and table decor. Got to paint some faces! And build a tie fighter with my fiance and friends, then flew it from a hot air balloon. It is now on display at the Indianapolis Children's Museum.

We are open at the tractor show! I had the privilege of putting a metallic jewelry tattoo on Pam Galloway who is running for Indianas 3rd Congressional District.

Our booth at the tractor and engine show us open! We are located inside the gate on the east side of the new building in a orange and white tent! We are offering balloons, tattoos and other items! Come by and see us!

IT'S OFFICIAL! WE BROKE THE WORLD RECORD!

We just got word from Guinness World Records that they have approved our application. We did it! The dragonfly has officially broken the world record for “Largest Modelling Balloon Sculpture (team).”
Our final measurements were 88ft 5.75 in. x 70ft 7.25 in. x 27ft. 8.5 in. and we used 6,813 balloons

We couldn’t have done it without our amazing crew: Brian Getz designed and led the project and was assisted by myself, Aaron Ray Messer, David Baker, Dustin Queary, Michael Mauthe, Chip Young, Kriss Owens Uptegrove, Skylar Uptegrove, Jack Owens, Roger Getz, Linda Getz, Andrew Price, Deb Price, and Joseph White.

Thanks to Betallic Balloons for sponsoring this project and our host, the Indiana State Museum , the museum facilities crew for their help in rigging, and all those who came out to see our work.

I teamed up with Brian's Balloons this week at the Jay County Fair and we got to model some angel and devil dresses. Come out today and tomorrow to get balloons, temporary tattoos and more.
