Founded in 2011 and under the direction of Kyle Culmann, Latin Expressions is Indy’s longest-running Latin dance studio in the city focusing on the art of Latin dance. We offer instruction in Salsa, Bachata, Mambo, ChaChaCha, Cumbia, Merengue and other traditional Latin social dances. Our instructors are seasoned professionals who seek to keep students engaged and create a comfortable, structured

learning environment. Whether you are looking to learn the basics, gain more confidence/comfort, stand out on the dance floor or compete at the highest of levels, LE has something for you! Offering a structured yet laid back and fun learning environment, our classes are designed to keep you engaged, having fun, and learning to be your personal best. LE is committed to improving the level of dancing in Indianapolis and sharing a love and passion for Latin dance with anybody they encounter, so beginners are always welcome! Once you’re comfortable with the basics as a lead, one of the best ways to level up your dancing is to learn how to follow.

Stepping into the follow role helps you feel your lead from the other side, what feels clear, what feels rushed, where connection gets lost, and how much pressure is actually needed.

It’s not necessarily a beginner exercise. It’s something we encourage once you have a solid understanding of the fundamentals and are ready to become a more intentional, connected lead.

Sometimes the best way to improve your lead is to experience what it feels like to follow. 💃🕺

Ready to take your dancing to the next level? We’re holding auditions for our TWO performance teams!

That’s right, TWO performance teams.

If you’ve been interested in performing or simply want to train hard, grow fast, and be part of a supportive team... this is your moment! This season, both teams will each by directed by Kyle Culmann, Juliana Bernal, and Mando Gonzalez!
