German American Klub of Indianapolis Located in German Park, The GAK is a social / cultural club living the rich German heritage of Indy.

GAK hosts German-American events all year including Indy's largest and most Authentic Oktoberfest, Frühlingsfest, and operates the Edelweiss Restaurant.

Indy's GERMAN Oktoberfest is only a day away! Three days of great German-American food, bier, weins, and music and dancing.
Reason 4 we are Indy's *GERMAN* Oktoberfest: POLKA!! Get your seat at Paulaner Pavilion for one of our great headliners, each day in German Park this Thursday-Saturday. Indy's own Polkamotion Thursday and Friday; Fort Wayne's great Jay Fox and the Jammin’ Germans Friday and Saturday, and new comers from Appleton, WI, APolkalypse! Enjoy the shows, and get UP AND DO YOUR POLKA (and waltzes, ländlers, Rheinlanders, two-steps, and whatever else our bands will play.)German Park on Indy's southside next, 4-11 PM, 10-12 September.

Indy's original and GERMAN Oktoberfest is a week away.
What makes us Indy's *GERMAN* Oktoberfest, reason 2: Authentic Claus' German Sausage and Meat Market's German meats. We are your Oktoberfest source for authentic meats from Indy's true Metzgermeister, Claus Muth. Whether it's his classic German Bratwurst, smoked Frankfurt Knackwurst, Frikadellen patties, or kassler smoked chops, Indy's Oktoberfest has you covered with the real thing. New this year: Currywurst, available at the Wurst Haus, located halfway between the Paulaner Pavilion and Edelweiss Biergarten--Authentic classic Claus' bratwurst, cooked with Edelweiss haus-made curry sauce and topped with sprinkled curry.
