Kota Cricelli may have only joined us at North Central for a short time, but they have been involved in performing arts all through out high school! Throughout their time at LN, they participated in band, orchestra, and choir! At North Central, Kota spent their time in KC Jazz and Varsity Singers! Their favorite choir piece was “Brave” and their favorite memory was all the time spent making new friends with the little time he had at NC.

Next year, Kota will be going to cosmology school. Congratulations, Kota!

We are getting close to the end of our incredible list of seniors, but we’re not quite done yet! And our next one is a big one! Olive Kang-Innie has been on show choir tech crew all 4 years of high school and also participated in tech theatre! Her favorite choir memory is attending Show Choir Nationals with her favorite people. Her favorite choir song was from the 2023 Counterpoints set, “Dynamite/Sueltate”.

“NC Choirs has provided me with so many unique and valuable experiences and opportunities that I will remember for the rest of my career.”

Join a few of our favorite local choreographers on the south side at The Dance Refinery (Mrs. Morrison’s old dance studio!) for two opportunities to work on your dance skills for only $15 a class! Marah (Descants and CP) and Grace (Accents) are two of the best! Make sure you check it out if you’re interested in working on your dance skills this summer!

*Cash/card will be accepted when you get there. There will be 3% fee for card payments.

Margaret Lynch was one of our talented Show Band members! They were involved in jazz band and orchestra for 4 years. Maggie went above and beyond their senior year and participated in Jazz Ensemble, Symphony, Show Choir Band, Wind Ensemble, Marching Panthers, Pit Orchestra, and All State Jazz! Their favorite show choir piece was Counterpoint’s ballad this season, “Feels Like Home”.

“Show Choir Band was truly an incredible opportunity to work with great people in a unique setting. It is an experience unlike any other ensemble I have been in, and I am really grateful I was able to have the opportunity to participate.”

Next year, Margaret will head to IU Jacobs School of Music to study Jazz Bass. Congratulations! We wish you the best! Thank you for sharing your talents with us this year!

Leon Kamocki is a 2-year member of our Show Band! He has been in band for 4 years and has also been in Pit Orchestra for the NC musicals as well! Outside of NC performing arts, he participates in Quiz Bowl and was selected for both All State Concert and Jazz Band! His favorite choir piece to play was “What’s Inside” from Descants “British Bake Off” set in 2025!

“Thank you to the amazing choir directors and the entirety of the choirs for an amazing two years. I not only grew in professional musicianship, but also had a wonderful time preparing sets and making memories. I wish NC choirs a wonderful many years to come.”

Next year, Leon plans to study Neuroscience on a pre-med track with the goal of becoming a psychiatrist! Congratulations, Leon!

Joseph Sexson was another one of our fabulous band members! He has been in band all four years of high school, but joined us for Show Band for his senior year! Outside of school, Joseph loves photograph and take his camera when he travels!

Joseph’s favorite memory this year was hanging out with a hunch of new people at all the show choir comps this year!

“Thank you to Mr. McElroy for being a super nice and cool person! Despite just meeting you this year, you have been one of my favorite teachers and I’m thankful for your support.“

Nia Douglas is one of our amazing Show Band players! Mia has been in band all four years at NCHS as a member of Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Marching Panthers, and Pep Band! Their favorite piece to play was “Pump It” and their favorite choir memory is their show choir comp at Southmont (and Ben’s Pretzels at every comp)!

Outside of band, Nia also does horseback riding and National Honors Society!

“Thank you so much to Miss Teneh for being an incredible role model, musician, and leader to our band. And thank you so much to NC Choirs for including me for one year, it was so fun. Every director is so caring and supportive of their students, including the ones they have known for less than a year.”

Next year, Nia is planning to attend University of Kentucky for Equine Science and Management. Congratulations, Nia! Thank you for your part in making the band awesome!

Addie is one of our amazing tech crew members! She has been on our tech crew for only one year, but has been a part of tech theatre for 3 years! Outside of tech, she also volunteers for Eastside Pawject!

Her favorite choir memory was traveling with varsity choir for their nationals trip in Nashville, TN!

Next year, she is attending Loyola University in Chicago! Congratulations, Addie and thank you for your support throughout the season!

Taylor Joris is a 4-year choir member and has been a member of Accents, Descants, and Counterpoints! Her favorite choir memory is going to show choir nationals!
Outside of choir, she also plays soccer!
