EVENTS! What IS the In-Store Retreat? The In-S

tore Retreat is a weekend of meeting up with old friends and making new ones while working on your latest yarn project without the distraction of home and work. For a fee of $25 for the entire weekend, you get a discount on all yarn in the store, as well as 7-10 free patterns, a cool shop bag and a chance to win one of the many door prizes we give away throughout the weekend. Feel free to join us all weekend or just for an hour or two. We look forward to seeing you over the weekend! What is an Over-Nighter? An over-nighter is a night we set aside for our favorite yarn projects. Over-nighters start at 7:30PM and go on through the evening until the last person goes home. For $20 we provide pizza and drinks. You bring a snack and your latest project to work on. Sometimes we work on a service project, so be sure to check the blog before you join us. BINGO NIGHT~ Saturday, November 14, 2026- 6-10 PM ! Come and have a fun night at the shop playing bingo with 100% of proceeds from the evening going to Outreach This is an organization that helps unhoused teens and young adults. Tickets are now on sale at the shop. You must purchase a ticket prior to the event. I feel these will go very quickly! $10 gets you 2 Bingo Cards for the night. Extra cards or trade in cards are $5 each. Outreach is also asking for GIFT CARDS to hand out to the young adults they serve. A $10 GIFT CARD gets you 2 bingo cards. We will also have 50/50 games, raffles and a couple of Silent Auction items. So bring extra cash!! 50/50 game tickets will be $1. We will play a new round each hour. Winner gets half the kitty of the sold tickets ( for that hour) and half the money will go to OUTREACH. I am donating a $25 MAKS gift card in a separate raffle . Tickets for that raffle are $1 a ticket or 6 tickets for $5. SO AGAIN, bring your cash!!
Bring a snack to share and I will provide Sodas and Water.

Rob of Close Knit Fibers is all set up and ready to sell some yarn. He will be at the shop tomorrow, Saturday, 10-4:30 and Sunday, 12-4. If you can’t get in call us at the shop or on my cell and we can ring you up for pick up or ship Don’t forget we are knitting at The Whispering Shelf bookstore on College tomorrow from 12-3. We are making hats for Wheeler Mission. I will have some extra yarn and needles.

Close Knit Fibers from CLOSE KNIT FIBERS will be at the shop tomorrow 10 - 4:30 and Sunday 12- 4 pm. Come shop his gorgeous yarns🥰. As I said four times in the real😉, if you can’t get in just call the shop and we will hand the phone to him and he can ring you up. If you have my number already just message me. New colors of both Lajolla and Sonoma 💕 We now have a total of over 140 colors of Lajolla and 130+ in Sonoma! On the website each yarn is divided by alphabet. A-L and M-Z. So excited to host Rob with Close Knit Fibers hand dyed yarns💕. He will be at the shop this Saturday ( 11-4:30) and Sunday (12-4). I will post pictures of yarns and colors Friday night so you can take an early look to be ready to shop on Saturday. Too chicken to PLAY CHICKEN😬. So I ripped out the “dingles” in this beautiful shawl and redid them with the malabrigo TORZAL yarn💕. And I love it so much!!! . Not blocked yet but wanted to get some pictures. The main yarn is Jems Luxe Fibers Yak fi*****ng -1 sk. If you haven’t knit or crocheted with this yarn yet, you are really missing out. It is quite luxurious. We have the DK weight of this yarn in-store and will be ordering the fi*****ng soon. But I do have a couple skeins of the fi*****ng weight in stock. 1 in SMITHSONITE ( the color I used). The Torzal is INDECITA, in stock. Order online or call the shop. Pattern is DRIPPY SCARF available on Ravelry. .
