Kate Oberreich - Art + Illustration

Painter. Sketchbook keeper. Ephemera collector. Kate Oberreich is an Indianapolis native and second-generation artist who refuses to define her style.

With a love of texture and symbolism, Kate mixes painting, drawing, collage and anything else that will “stick”. A Ball State University grad, Kate holds a BFA in painting and contemplates grad school every once in a while. In the meantime, she creates paintings and illustration for solo and group exhibitions and her growing list of clients. Notable clients include Citizens Energy Group (Indianapo

My canal dragon traffic signal box painting turns 8! It’s still fun to drive through Broad Ripple and catch sight of this creature. 🐉 🌹

Fri-yay! Going to extend my half off sale for one more First Friday - head to the studio at the Harrison Center this week for Open Studio Night and a slew of new shows (including the Collab Show where Lindsey Lord and I teamed up on a couple of new mixed media artworks).
