Pitch meetings. So many pitch meetings.

So far, we've been accepted in for pitches at Disney, Nickelodeon, Cartoon Network, Netflix, Amazon, Warner Brothers, Splash Entertainment, and Dreamworks.

That's pretty much all of the big boys, which means what we're pitching is damned interesting to them. There's a lot that can make for a "no" and a gauntlet that leads to the profoundly rare "yes," but the fact that we've been this successful just getting in for pitches and have had the overwhelmingly positive response we've had from the creative staffs at these studios is something to focus on.

It means we're good enough to compete, and that's huge.

Well, now, it's been quite some time! I'm terrible at keeping up with this page, but a whole BUNCH of stuff is happening.

First, Mallory Bash is still going strong, with episode 51 having been posted today. It's getting a lot of traction and a lot of subscribers.

Second, I've completed two of the development projects for Max and his writing partner at Nick and Disney, and they've recently returned to employ my skills for a third concept in development.

I've also recently been asked by a fellow at Disney about my rates for character design and some samples of original writing, so there may be another big development project in the future.

Finally, there are other projects I may also be involved with, including a comic project for AIDS awareness in Kenya, a full film storyboarding gig for a Texas-based Christian production company, some character designs for an amateur series developer, and a few others I've been contacted for.

Now it's just a matter of sifting through and figuring out which projects are best for me to jump on board, and schedule my time appropriately.
