🏳️‍🌈 This Pride Month, we’re proud to support DK’s Director of Community Engagement, Jay Hemphill, in American Lives Theatre’s world premiere production of “Arlington, or Your Forgotten American Hero.”

Jay portrays Harvey Milk in this powerful new work that tells the story of Oliver Sipple, a U.S. Marine who saved President Gerald Ford from an assassination attempt in 1975, only to be largely erased from the national narrative that followed.

Presented by American Lives Theatre and directed by Chris Saunders, “Arlington” explores heroism, identity, and the stories history chooses to remember.

As a performer, teacher, and beloved member of the DK family, she continues to inspire those around her with her passion for dance and commitment to sharing it with others.

Happy Birthday to our incredible Lighting Designer & Production Manager, Laura Glover! 🎉💡✨

For 35 seasons, Laura has helped shape the look, feel, and magic of Dance Kaleidoscope productions. Through her artistry, creativity, and technical brilliance, she has illuminated more than 100 world premieres and countless unforgettable moments on stage.

Whether she’s designing breathtaking lighting, managing the many moving pieces behind the scenes, or helping bring a choreographer’s vision to life, Laura’s impact on DK is immeasurable.

🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride Month from Dance Kaleidoscope!

For more than five decades, Dance Kaleidoscope has celebrated the power of dance to tell human stories, foster connection, and create space for every voice to be seen and heard. We are proud of the LGBTQ+ artists, staff, supporters, and audiences who have helped shape our company.

From David Hochoy’s groundbreaking 2013 “Les Noces” portraying a same-sex wedding to Joshua Blake Carter’s contemporary explorations of love, identity, and human connection, LGBTQ+ stories and artists have played an important role in our history and on our stages.

This month and every month, we celebrate authenticity, creativity, and the freedom to express who you are.

🏜️✨ SHOW DAY at the Red Rock Dance Festival!

Yesterday was a full and inspiring day of connecting with the festival community. From the meet & greet, to teaching classes, to rehearsing for tonight’s performance. We’ve loved meeting so many talented dancers and artists and are excited to share our work with St. George!

Tonight, Dance Kaleidoscope takes the stage for a special concert with St. George Dance Company opening the evening.
