On Saturday the 500 Festival Kids Day, we had the opportunity to distribute around 550 helmets to kids in our community and help get even more young riders excited about cycling.

To make the day even more special, we are also hosting a raffle giveaway for THREE kids bikes, generously donated by The Bike Line. Thank you to The Bike Line for helping us continue to grow the next generation of riders.

Introducing our official Momentum Indy Leader’s Jerseys of 2026🏆 And this year, that spotlight extends to our junior racers!

Meet DIVAS presented by IU Health member, Pamela Dunlap!

Pamela’s love for cycling began in childhood, where riding her bike was a source of joy, imagination, and escape. After years spent caregiving, working in healthcare, and raising her children, she rediscovered that same joy in her 40s when she got back on a bike. Though she initially felt out of place in the cycling world and unsafe riding alone, everything changed when she found the DIVAS community at age 55.

Through DIVAS, Pamela found a supportive group of women who brought back her sense of confidence, adventure, and belonging. That experience inspired her to give back, leading her to a leadership role with Special Olympics Indiana’s cycling program. There, she helps athletes of all abilities discover the same joy, strength, and connection that cycling has given her.

Despite living with a degenerative joint condition and adapting to an e-bike, Pamela continues to ride, grow, and uplift others. Her story is a powerful reminder that cycling is for everyone, and that with community, courage, and support, anything is possible.

A new powerhouse team is rolling into Momentum Indy 💥

HigherDOSE | RENOVA Total Health is an Indy based professional women’s team founded this year by Dr. Andrea Cyr, Justin Kirk, and Marco Aledia. After experiencing multiple teams fold, Cyr set out to build something different, a stable athlete first team grounded in resilience, opportunity, and a true belief in women’s cycling. Development riders were also brought on the squad as a further opportunity to grow the sport and give riders opportunities they wouldn’t find elsewhere

With a carefully selected roster featuring talent from across the globe, this squad is built to be one of the most dynamic and balanced teams on the US criterium circuit. Several riders have already stood on the podium at Momentum Indy in past years, including the 2025 overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers ( , .seitz , ), and now they return stronger together.

Thursday night was electric! We kicked off the Momentum Indy Divas season with over 100 enthusiastic women ready to hit the road. We are especially eager to welcome back IU Health as our Presenting Sponsor for the 2026 season.

IU Health provides the critical support that allows us to focus on long-term mental and physical wellness for women in our community. Their commitment ensures that every Diva, from beginner to advanced, has a path toward better health and a stronger community. We’re ready to roll for an incredible season ahead!

Throwback to an iconic photo shoot with and before our 2015 race!

Chloe Dygert raced with at the Indy Criterium starting in 2013 and quickly became one of the most exciting young talents to come through the event. Today, she’s an Olympic gold medalist, multiple-time Olympic medalist, and 12-time World Champion, one of the most decorated riders in U.S. cycling history. Chloe played a huge role in helping launch the Midwest Devo program and showed what’s possible for junior riders coming out of the Midwest scene.

Alongside her was her brother, Gunner Dygert, who was also part of the Midwest Devo pipeline. Gunner built his own path in the sport, developing as a strong and versatile rider with a focus on road and endurance racing. The Dygert siblings became a powerful example of how family, community, and local racing like Momentum Indy can shape elite-level athletes.

Midwest Devo has been a longtime part of the Indianapolis cycling community and a familiar face at Momentum Indy events.

Focused on skill development, fun, and long-term athlete growth, they continue to build an incredible pathway for junior riders in the Midwest. 🚴‍♀️

Led by Marissa Doner, Midwest Devo recently launched Midwest NXT, and two NXT athletes are gearing up to represent Team USA at Cyclocross World Championships.
