Wow!! What a beautiful way to wrap up our year of youth art classes for the school year- three back to back mini art shows celebrating our youngest artists all the way to our talented teens…and everyone in between!! 🤩❤️🎨

The sweet tiny friends came to explore, play, and create the most adorable mini drivers that featured their own cute faces before welcoming family and friends to their big art show day! We wrapped it up with taking turns running their little car creations down the studio speedway track before packing up our portfolios. 🏎️

Our awesome Art Explorers worked hard putting on the finishing touches to their spinning skewer sculptures and preparing their portfolios for their mini art show. And when the curtains opened, our artists waved their fabulous race flags to welcome our families and special guests into the studio! 🏁 Our celebration would not have been complete without taking about 100 turns down the studio track before sharing some delicious .bakery macarons with our class friends! Thanks !!

The grand finale came with our truly wonderful Art Lab tweens and teens! They were challenged with the theme of “Art in Motion” and boy did they deliver! We had art that spun, rolled, toppled, and swayed. These talented kids made our hearts so happy each week as we watched them challenge themselves to create art that shared their vision and fit our motion filled theme! Each artist shared bravely with a full studio of guests and we applaud each and every one!! 😍

And that’s a wrap on a week of truly incredible mini art shows!! We created and celebrated with nearly 75 Create artists this week and we loved every minute!! Thank you to our families and students, we are so grateful for you!! We will see you all back in the studio this fall!! Happy Summer!!! ☀️🎨☀️

Thursday’s Mini Art Shows were nothing but a good time! We loved watching these amazing Mini-Makers and Studio Explorers put the finishing touches on all of their Spring 2 artwork to share with their family and friends at the end of class!

Our awesome artists took inspiration from life around us- everything from the , the beautiful weavings by that adorn our studio space, and the colorful painting of goldfish by Henri Matisse. We celebrated each and every artist and their own unique ideas and decorative flair they added with confidence to their final works of art. What a joy to be a spectator to it all!! Especially the mini races we held at the end of class with their custom designed race cars! 🏎️ 🎨

As we race to the end of May, we just want to thank all of our amazing families that made time to slow down and celebrate making art with us !! 😘

In the studio with all of our Art Explorers is definitely our happy place! These tremendously creative and fun little artists have been busy making art that was inspired by all of our favorites aspects of May in Indy!

Celebrating each of these artists during their Mini Art Shows — and all of their artwork — was such a joy! From their self-designed creations (that they raced down our in-studio track!) to the happiest little watercolor flowers and bees, every single piece was a true treasure.

Even more wonderful than the art created has been the adorable friendships and connections formed, the confidence built, and the sharing of ideas between these Art Explorers. It truly feels like the beginning of a very special creative community. ❤️

We will miss our weekly classes with all of these talented kiddos, but we can’t wait to welcome them back and see how much they’ve grown when we come back together for Fall 1!
