My studio

Been sitting on this one for a little bit because it was/is a 10 year wedding anniversary gift. Orchids are the brides favorite flower. One of the requests was for this color scheme on a five leaf flower. I didn't find any so I possibly made up a new variety of orchid :) The buyer did not see it until finished and on the date of their anniversary. I appreciate the trust. It's been sitting in my studio space finished for about two weeks, I'll miss having it here. 30x40 inch oil paint

"Blossom Air"

"Blossom Air" was inspired by the first warm days of spring here in Indianapolis. I wanted to capture that quiet moment when the blossoms seem to lift into the sky and the whole city feels lighter. The piece is about renewal, softness, and the gentle shift into a new season. I painted it as a reminder of how even small moments in nature can open up space for calm.

My Town

In the middle of town there is a corner with a handful of shops. The lights over the street are up year round which gives it a festive atmosphere. The beautiful sycamore trees show off their light bark in the late afternoon light. Americana Art. Folk Art.
