Madge (Emily Reese Castro) seems to be taken with the drifter Hal (Jacob Schwartz) as he works in her neighbor’s yard. His presence disrupts the mundane routines and hidden desires of the local women in their small Kansas town.

Picnic, the Pulitzer Prize-winning play by William Inge is on stage September 10th - 20th at Epilogue Players.

Our annual meeting and Epi Awards banquet was last night. We celebrated our 2025-26 season and handed out some bling. Here's a rundown:

Congratulations to our volunteer of the year, Dale Smith. He's one of those guys who always shows up and does what he can to support us all throughout the year. Thank you, Dale.

The Marsha L. Grant award went to the production team who designed and built the sets, and crafted the costumes and lighting and all of the elements for The Heiress. If you saw it, you know.

Actor Epi Awards went to the following:
Minor Supporting Actress: Susan Hill
Minor Supporting Actor: Jim Gryga
Major Supporting Actress: Cathie Morgan
Major Supporting Actor: Matt McKee
Lead Actress: Tanya Haas
Lead Actor: Brandon Wentz

Director nod went to Nicole Amsler for "The Tin Woman."
The Production award went to "The Tin Woman."

On the Election side, Ed Mobley was elected to the office of President of the board. Amanda Greene agreed, with the approval of the membership, to take on another two-year term as Secretary.
