Today marks more than just another birthday—it marks a NEW BIRTH at the age of 45 years old 🙌🏾🥹🙏🏾❤️🎂!

Yesterday, Lamont Lamont Stokes and I returned from an incredible 8-day journey to Ghana, West Africa with Anidaso 360 for the Sankofa 360 ACTperience, focused on leadership, identity, ministry, service, and hope.

One of the greatest gifts I received was my Ghanaian name, Abena, given because I was born on a Tuesday. So today, I’m celebrating as Patrice Abena Stokes. 🇬🇭✨

I’m so grateful to God for this unforgettable experience and for the gift of another year of life. After 15+ hours of travel home, today I’m resting, reflecting, and looking forward to sharing more from this amazing journey.

Father’s Day reminds us that fathers come in many forms in our lives—biological fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, foster fathers, spiritual fathers, husbands, brothers, mentors, friends, and even the loving example of our Heavenly Father.

For many, this day can bring a mix of emotions. No matter where you find yourself today, I encourage you to take a moment to reflect on the men who have helped guide, support, encourage, protect, and love you along your journey. Let gratitude lead the way.

I also want to wish a Happy Father’s Day to my dad, my father-n-law, my brother & my husband. Each holds a different place in my heart. Love you 💙

However you choose to spend today, take a moment to celebrate and honor the fathers and father figures who have made a difference in your life.

✨REFLECTION POST: It’s Saturday! That word “Saturday” can mean a lot of different things to people. But is “Rest” part of that meaning? For you, me or others? What does “rest” look like for you? For me, today started with a workout this morning. My promise to myself this year is workout at least 5x’s per week & so far, so good! Now my goal is to “rest.”

This video was so affirming, yet challenged me to rethink these words “Saturday” & “Rest.” I hope this encourages you today to enjoy “rest” the way God intended for us to enjoy. In order for us to do more, we have to REST! Our bodies require it. Im guilty of busyness on Saturdays. If you know me, you know 🫣🤭

But 2026, I’m restructuring my mind on what activities & self-care look like so I can be the best version of me, the Lord, my family, clients and anyone I encounter. So I pray today, you take time as well to do the same and make it part of your 2026 goals! Share this with someone to encourage them today as well! May you be 💕
