Hi, I'm Sandy Walker, the director of Monument Circle Art Fair. Every year in October, I have the joy and privilege to showcase local and regional artists at the vibrant and historic Soldiers and Sailors Monument in downtown Indy. This year our event takes place on Saturday, October 10th from 10 to 5.
I am an artist who participates in juried art fairs across the region. My art is upcycled wearable art. Monument Circle Art Fair has been one of my favorite shows, even before I became the coordinator! I love having this event right in the center of our town in such a beautiful location.
If you are interested in participating as an artist, visit our website at www.monumentcircleart.org. The deadline for application is June 20th.
The event is free to the public and family-friendly. Mark your calendars now for Saturday, October 10th.

Hope to see you at the Circle!

Look who's coming to the Circle! It's Ana Vargas, Hoosier jewelry artist. Here's how she describes her art:
I am finding new ways to enchant the hearts of people, by making art that can be worn and exhibited everywhere they go. I use basswood, walnut hardwood and other types of wood to make my earrings, some are hand painted/stained with non-toxic colors. The necklace pendants are hand crafted using agate stone and resin over hand selected pendants and silver/gold plated chains.

Look who's coming to the Circle! Phillip Oechsle, Hoosier glass artist, will be making his debut at Monument Circle Art Fair. Here's how he describes his art: I’m an artist who specializes in handblown glass. My work often involves experimenting with vibrant color combinations and intricate aesthetic line patterns. I also create functional pieces like bowls, vases, and drinking ware. Additionally, I produce decorative glass items such as flowers, pumpkins, ornaments, and paperweights.

Look who's coming to the Circle! It's Madeline O'Hara, mixed media artist. Here is how she describes her art:
"My work blends the organic and the imaginative through two main mediums: preserved moss on wood panels, and vibrant acrylic paintings on canvas. Each piece is inspired by nature's textures, patterns and moods- whether it's the quiet calm of a mossy forest, or the bold colors of wildflowers and butterflies in flight. I often merge materials, combining hand painted elements with preserved botanicals to create immersive, tactile scenes that invite viewers to pause and connect with the natural world.
With a love for bright, contrasting colors and whimsical details, I also create fun prints and stickers that bring this joyful, nature rooted energy into everyday life. Whether large scale or small and giftable, each work reflects my belief that art should feel alive, accessible, and a little magic."

Look who's coming to the Circle! It's Beth Miller, Hoosier artist. Here's how she describes her art:
I am a fluid artist. I have a few styles using acrylic paint and textures. The paint can be thin or thick and with other ingredients or not. Depends on which style I am painting with. I paint to show what I am feeling or thoughts on my mind. People I’ve met or places I have seen. Or just random abstract ideas.
