We’ve been working on these derpy cats the past two classes, and the kids love their final pieces! I provided red, blue, and yellow paint and the kids mixed the secondary colors to create a color wheel of cats. Then students painted on details using paint pens and sharpies. I encouraged them to use like colors for each cat, so they’ve have a monochromatic look when they were done. The final product t is so cute!
