INRC’s 5th Annual Jubilee will be returning on Thursday, September 24 from 5-8 PM at Salesforce Tower.

The event is a celebration of community, gathering neighbors and friends for a festive evening that supports community leadership in our city. 🏘️

For $25 general admission guests will enjoy:

Remember 10 on 10th last year? 🔁

One night, East 10th St. filled up with neighbors walking block to block, artists in every room, the whole street moving like the arts district it already is.

We're doing it again. The IndyEast Art Walk returns Friday, September 4, 5–9PM, and this year it marks the official opening of Art in Unexpected Places featuring the artists behind our neighborhood's public art initiative finally getting introduced.

1000 Words is a stop on the map again. Same doors, same block, new windows and more art.

Indy’s first Black Wealth Crawl is happening. And we’re closing it out. 🖤

The By Design Wealth Crawl runs August 28 – September 8 — ten days spotlighting Black-owned businesses across the city, presented by the City’s Office of Equity, Belonging & Inclusion with the Indy Chamber and the Indy Black Chamber of Commerce.

1000 Words is hosting the closing reception on Monday, September 7 — Labor Day, 4–7 PM, right here at 3328 E. 10th St.

Because an artist running their practice as a business is wealth-building too. That’s the entire premise of our Business of Art program.

September 3–6, 1000 Words returns to BUTTER Art Fair as an exhibiting gallery — three works, three artists, one very simple idea: artists keep 100% of what their work sells for.

No commission. Not at the gallery, not at the fair, not ever.

- Partnering with Arts for Learning Indiana
- Launching our Business of Art program
