Yesterday, the IUP Percussion Studio had the incredible opportunity to welcome Adam Osmianski for a day of learning and music-making!

Adam is an internationally experienced percussionist and educator specializing in jazz and Brazilian music. Throughout his visit, our students explored the rich history, cultural traditions, and rhythms of Brazilian percussion, gaining valuable insight into these musical practices.

We are incredibly grateful that Adam shared his knowledge and musicianship with our Percussion Ensemble, Percussion Methods class, and studio members through individual lessons. It was an inspiring experience for everyone involved!

Thank you, Adam, for spending the day with us and bringing a new perspective to our percussion community!
