The Mikey Goodwin Playground at Nance Park

We recently received this message reminding us what the playground is all about.

I just wanted to thank all of those involved in the Mickey Goodwin playground for having the foresight to put in ADA swings. My niece, Dorothy has Rett syndrome making it difficult to support herself in other swings but she absolutely loves the swing at the Mickey Goodwin Playground. Thank you again.

The Mikey Goodwin Playground will remain in place as-is as part of this re-imagination project.

SAVE THE DATE!! The evening of August 27th.

We are finalizing the details of a public work shop/open house for the proposed Boardwalk re-imagination project but plan on August 27th in the evening at Indialantic Town Hall. The consultants from Land Design will be there and this will be your chance to offer suggestions to be included in the design.

A men's wedding band was found at the playground over the weekend. Thanks to a caring resident, it can be claimed at the Indialantic Police Department - open 24/7.

FYI... the zip line will likely be down for an extended period of time.

Please be aware that the zip line is currently closed for repairs. Also a reminder that the zip line is designed for kids under 12 years old. The manufacturer will provide us with a weight limit that will posted ASAP.

The MikeyStrong 5K Fun Run / Walk is on Tuesday November 21, 2023. It includes the following events: MikeyStrong 5K Fun Run / Walk, Mikey Strong Virtual 5K Run/Walk, and Mikey's Turkey Dash for kids 12 and under.
