Our Mission: To preserve and promote puppetry through education and entertainment for all ages.

The Puppetry Arts Institute opened in Englewood (Independence, Mo) in 2001, establishing a facility that contains a museum, puppet theater and workshop area. A puppet research library, and puppet repair services are also available.

TOMORROW, SATURDAY, JUNE 27 at 11 A.M.--State tales and tunes come to life in "SHOW ME MISSOURI," an America 250 puppet salute! It will be performed at PAI, and the admission is $6 ($5 per person in your group if you bring a flyer or postcard advertising the show!) Hope y'all will be able to see the show!

Performance time is 11:00 at Puppetry Arts Institute, 11025 E. Winner Road in Independence, and other show dates are June 20 and 27 at 11 a.m. and July 11 at 7:30 p.m.

The Puppetry Arts Institute is presenting "Show Me Missouri - an America 250 PUPPET Salute" show performed by Kraig Kensinger and Company on the following Saturdays in June: 6,13, 20, 27 at 11:00 am. Cost is $6 per person but if you show this Facebook post on your phone or print it out you can receive $1 off per person. For the May third Friday Art Walk happening on May 15, Nancy Clark will be dressing up like Hazelle Rollins and giving a first person talk about the development of Hazelle's puppet factory that was in business for 40 years. The presentation will be at 7:30 pm.

Third Friday Art Walk is this weekend, April 17th. Mr. Puppet (Bob Abdou) is performing a comedy ventriloquist show at 7:30 pm. YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS IT! Hope to see you there.
