🎬🔥 FROM THE ARCHIVES: “IT WON’T HAPPEN” — MZ. ANGEL 🔥🎬

“If people wanna see you down and out… tell ’em IT WON’T HAPPEN!” 💪🏾

Taking it back to 2018 and the Unleashed era!

🎶 “It Won’t Happen” was the second single released online from my album UNLEASHED and represents a major chapter in my journey as an independent artist.

Unleashed was my first CD released under my own label, Heavenly Angel Entertainment, which I launched in March 2018. The album was executive produced by Abaleanie and released in July 2018.

For “It Won’t Happen,” the beat was produced by Diddy Beats, and the song was recorded and mixed by Abaleanie.

🎥 The official music video was shot and edited by Mogul Filming Group in downtown Kansas City, Missouri—and this one will ALWAYS hold some special memories for me.

My two youngest babies, Taryn and Tyler, stepped in at the last minute and became my background dancers, helping their mama bring the vision to life while my older two girls were at work. 🖤 My little Black Panthers came through, and we had FUN making this one!

The message was simple:

People can expect you to quit.
They can wait for you to fall.
They can WANT to see you down and out…

BUT IT WON’T HAPPEN. ✊🏾🔥

And all these years later, that message STILL hits.

If you’ve never seen the official video—or you haven’t watched it in years—run it back with me!

🚀✨ FROM THE ARCHIVES: “LEVEL UP” — MZ. ANGEL ✨🚀

The only person I’m in competition with is ME.

Taking it back to 2017 with “Level Up,” a single from my Levitation project. 💿

When I made this song, the message was about growth, determination and pushing MYSELF to the next level. I wasn’t worried about competing with the next person. My biggest competition was the woman I saw in the mirror.

Because at the end of the day, somebody else can’t stop me.

The only person who can stop me is ME.

And once I get going? That Energizer battery kicks in. 😂🔥 I keep going and going.

Looking back at this song years later, the message hits a little differently because I’ve lived a whole lot of life since then. I’ve changed. I’ve grown. I’ve fallen down. I’ve gotten back up.

And I’m STILL trying to LEVEL UP. ⬆️✨

🎬 The official “Level Up” video premiered in 2017 during my G.R.I.T.T.E.R. Music era and was filmed by Reality Films / Ray Macc.

Special thanks to Ray Macc and Scario Andreddi for helping bring the vision to life. ❤️

And there’s another reason I’m bringing this one back out of the archives…

👀 LEVITATION IS COMING BACK.

I’m preparing to re-release the Levitation project, so if you weren’t around for this era of Mz. Angel, now is the perfect time to catch up. And if you WERE there… come run it back with me. 🔥

I’m not competing with you. I’m competing with the woman I was yesterday.
