Hey everyone if you have been Tattooed or Pierced at our studio Landlocked Tattoo & Piercing LLCwould you do us a solid and give us a review on google we always appreciate the reviews. It helps us out as a small business the more interactions,searches, and reviews we get on those search engines. We really do appreciate all of you who support us by getting tattooed, pierced, sharing one of our posts, liking a post, giving us a review, telling a friend, or even buying merch just know we know and appreciate it.

Oh yeah some updates we have a new artist joining us at Landlocked. Please welcome Ryan Drake to the Landlocked Crew. He is available for appointments and walk ins (I’ll be making a more formal post in the next day or so again to remind you all).

We do have Walk in availability all week now for Tattoos. Piercings are still appointment only. Our studio hours are
Tuesday-Thursday 10am to 6pm
Friday-Saturday 11am to 8pm

So swing by the studio,email, or call when your ready for that new tattoo or piercing.

WE ARE STILL TATTOOING!!! Just not here anymore.
It pains me to see this old shop go. This place has been my home just a few months shy of a decade. I held on probably longer than I should have but in the end the options were harsh and bleak. I am however honored to be a part of the tattoo history here and a part of the community tattooed within these walls. Thanks to my great crew who stayed on till the very last day

As many may have noticed I have closed Live Free Tattoo on the first of this month. It wasn’t an easy decision to close possibly the oldest  continuously operating tattoo studio in the area. But in the end my options were harsh and bleak. There are older organizations though not in their original locations. Freaks on Broadway may be older though I’m not sure when they moved next door to the original shop. The building is a part of tattooing history with many artists who cut their teeth there moving on to great careers locally and nationally. I am proud to have tattooed there just a few months shy of a decade servicing the people of independence and will sorely miss what was essentially my home.

Josh (duck) is in the process of opening his first shop near the Englewood Cafe off winner rd in Independence
And I’m (Drake) starting a new chapter at Landlocked Tattoo in Gladstone
