We are an organization that specializes in the mission, and the motto of the beautiful kingdom, island, and beloved state of Hawaii: UA MAU KE ‘EA O KA ‘ĀINA I KA PONO. We can only give the heirs of the land (our children) that which is perpetuated in righteousness. Were dedicated to ensuring that the ways of Hula, the ways of Hawaii are perpetuated and saved, and passed down to the next generatio

ns, and charge them to hand down what they learn to the following generation and so on. In this way, the motto of Hawaii comes to life. King Kawika Kalâkaua stated, Hula is the heartbeat of Hawaii, therefore the heartbeat of our people. We teach hula, from the basic steps to adornment making, to chanting, to music, and even ôlelo Hawaii (Hawaiian language). Which also fulfills the motto of Hâlau Makana O Hula School of Polynesian Arts - Learn Hula, Love hula....LIVE HULA!
