The Independence Sicilian Heritage Festival This festival celebrates the Sicilian heritage of our ancestors who came and settled in Independence, Louisiana.

Voted 2012 Louisiana Association of Fairs and festivals “ New Festival of The Year"
The ISHF is held each year the second weekend of March in the streets of downtown Independence. Amazing Sicilian Cuisine, a spaghetti eating contest, a meatball toss competition and great music!
