UPDATE DAY! We are so excited to be extending the registration period for W***Y WONKA JR - our school-year production. Due to an upcoming surgery within our family, we are now starting the production on SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4th - that means you have more time to get registered - please remember... space is limited!!! the SEED theatre project is pleased to announce a school year production of ROALD DAHL’S W***Y WONKA JR!

The delicious adventures of W***y Wonka's chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale. Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film, in addition to a host of fun new songs, Roald Dahl's W***y Wonka JR. is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.

Roald Dahl's W***y Wonka JR. follows enigmatic candy manufacturer W***y Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory — or suffer the consequences.

SEED is excited to partner with MJM Studios - located at 5796 Constitution Drive in Florence, KY - for our rehearsal location!

Rehearsals will begin on Saturday, October 4th and will be held each week from 12:00-1:00pm.

The performance of Roald Dahl’s W***y Wonka Jr. will happen on Saturday, May 2, 2026.

This production is open to all students who are in 1st through 12th grade in the 2025/2026 school year!

Pricing details for this production are as follows:
There is a $30 registration fee per student at sign up
Then, families will be invoiced a tuition fee of $50 per month, per student for the duration of the production.

We are so excited to begin this process. Auditions will be held at the first rehearsal on October 4th and a cast list will go out later that day. Everyone who signs up will be in the production, however specific roles will be determined on October 4th.

We can’t wait to share BIG FISH with our audience on Friday evening! The performance is at 7pm at Calvary Christian School on Taylor Mill Road in Covington! (Due to construction, patrons will use the back entrance)
