Today, the SEED theatre is making a big announcement through the video below. We are unveiling the SEED theatre’s Sowing Initiative, through which we will train, equip, and grow ministries to lead their own SEED programs. Adam and Michelle Leigh will walk alongside churches to show how to Serve, Engage, Equip, and Disciple the next generation through SEED. We are making it our goal to plant 3-5 SEED locations at churches in the greater Cincinnati tri-state area for summer 2027. This is in preparation for our national launch in 2028. To complete an interest form as a church who would like to consider a partnership, visit https://seedtheatreproject.com/ and click, "Sowing Initiative."
This model will equip churches not only to launch and maintain a summer theatre ministry, but plant a growing community of kids and youth who see the Gospel in everything and are confident in their ability to spread the Good News. In addition, the church can utilize their SEED program as a fundraising opportunity if they so choose.
Today is a big day for the future of SEED. We have prayed, and the Lord has led!
What can you do to support SEED’s vision?
First, pray for us and those churches who will join our mission.
Second, share this with church leaders - with children’s, youth, and family ministry leaders who may want to learn more.
Third, send those leaders to the SEED theatre's Sowing Initiative page where we can initiate and continue the conversation with them. You can find that here: https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61590541238927
Fourth, begin to watch this space for links to our new podcast called “the SEED sessions!”
This page will continue to be the source for all things SEED for our NKY pilot program… which will return in two, week-long camps in summer 2027! As in years past, this location will continue to be led by Adam and Michelle Leigh.
Thank you for helping to shape the past, present, and future of the SEED theatre.
“A sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seeds fell along the path, and the birds came and devoured them. Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away. Other seeds fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up and choked them. Other seeds fell on good soil and produced grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears, let him hear.” - Matthew 13:3-9 (ESV)
