Watercolors by Lucelia Notecards of prints made from original watercolor paintings by local Nebraska artist Lucelia (Lee) M It became one of her life's passions. and so will she.

Our mother, Lucelia "Lee" Moreland, started painting when she was 65 years old. She drove 100 miles every week for art lessons until she was well into her 80's. She won awards at local art shows and was commissioned to do paintings for several people. Always very humble about her talents, she was pleasantly surprised and excited about us kids making notecards out of her paintings. Kerry and I are

so glad we decided to take on this project now that Mom is gone. The beauty she saw in life and captured in her paintings through the years will live on . . .

Always very modest about her talents, she was surprised and excited that Kerry and I would want to make notecards out of her paintings. We are so glad we decided to take on this project, especially now that Mom is gone. The beauty she saw in life and captured in her paintings will live on . . . and so will she.
