🧹✨ PAC WORK DAY = DONE! ✨🎭
Before we could start a new year of making theatre, we had to tackle the not-so-glamorous part: getting everything organized!
Last Monday, 18 of our middle school and high school students, along with some amazing parent booster volunteers, spent the day at the PAC from 10:00 AM–5:00 PM working HARD.
They sorted, labeled, moved, cleaned, organized, and completely reset spaces throughout the Performing Arts Center—including:
🎭 Setting up and organizing our costume shop
👞 Sorting the MANY shoes, wigs, costumes, and accessories we have accumulated over the years
🧵 Organizing costume pieces so they can actually be found when we need them
🔨 Cleaning and reorganizing the scene shop
📦 Sorting storage bins, racks, supplies, and equipment
✨ Getting our spaces ready for another very busy year of productions and classes
Seven hours of organizing costumes and theatre storage may not come with applause or a curtain call, but this kind of work is what makes everything that happens on our stage possible.
We are incredibly grateful for students who are willing to give up one of their last summer Mondays to take ownership of their program—and for our Performing Arts Boosters and parent volunteers who continue to show up whenever there is work to be done.
The PAC is getting ready… and so are we. ❤️🎭
Here’s to another great year at Imlay City Schools Performing Arts!
