Today, we celebrate the beautiful and talented Chelsey Zappella! I've always said, if I could put a face to Extreme, it would be hers. She embodies all that we strived to be. Her passion for dance is matched with her pure spirit of heart. She began with us as a tiny dancer at the age of 4. She grew to become one of our most beloved instructors. She has a way of making each student feel special and loved, all while keeping them on task, and perfecting the tiniest of details. She always volunteered her time to Extreme Angels. Whether it was teaching dance to our Cross Roads kids or participating in our Random Acts of Kindness day. She was happy to help.

Chelsey, It has been such an honor to be a part of your life. We've shared so much over the years. You have made a huge positive impact in this world. I'm so very proud of you and your accomplishments. I wish you a lifetime of happiness and bliss, you deserve the best this world has to offer.

For the last 18 years, this woman has given her love, time, talent and passion to her students. Let's take a moment to recognize and appreciate her, as there is no one on earth like her! Sarah, thank you so much for your hard work and dedication. You have inspired and skillfully advanced every student that has attended your class. Beyond the physical skills you've taught them, you've shown them how to be strong, kind and supportive to themselves and others. Extreme has been a success, because of you. From our countless sporting events, recitals, travel performances and all the shenanigans in between, what a fun ride it has been!

You've put something positive out in the world.....and that my friend is a win.

Dear Dance Families,

As this year comes to a close, so too, must we. After 19 years serving this fine community, it is time to close this chapter. It has been an honor and a privilege to be a part of your lives.

Covid changed the climate of our business and has made it impossible to sustain. It continues to surge and disrupt the lives of our families, and there doesn't appear to be an end in sight. As a result, we suffer from extensive absences for weeks/months due to family quarantines, staffing issues and expenditures outweighing revenue. Under these conditions, we cannot continue.

While it saddens us to close, we wish our students the very best at their new chosen studio should they continue in dance. Any studio you choose will be most lucky to have you. With grateful hearts, we thank the many families that have graced our studios. From our beginnings on Bancroft St., to our second location on Third St., to our current facility.

Like branches on a tree, we grow in different directions, but our roots remain the same.

Thank you for the memories, thank you for the laughter, but most of all....
Thank you for the Love.
