A tale of two yarns
Once upon a time, we had a yarn we all loved, in the most wonderful long, slow gradient stripes. This yarn was Uluru by Queensland, an amazing blend of Cotton, Acrylic and Polyester spun into a lightly textured yarn that made the most amazing fabric when knitted, crocheted, or woven. It was truly one of the most versatile yarns, and we were so sad when we were told it had been discontinued.
Earlier this year, we had the pleasure of meeting with our yarn rep, who told us some very exciting news. Queensland Yarns was releasing a new yarn. This yarn is a blend of Cotton, Acrylic, and Polyamide spun into a lightly textured yarn with long, slow gradient stripes.
We would like to introduce Zephyra by Queensland. Although this yarn is not the exact same blend as our beloved Uluru was, it is close enough to take its place in our hearts and projects.
