Peninsula Players is assembling the cast for our upcoming USO-themed production, a lively salute to the 1940s filled with music, humor, and heart. We’re seeking performers who can bring authenticity, warmth, and camaraderie to this spirited show.

🎭 Principal Roles:
Max Andrews - the oldest brother, strives to remain in charge
Lawrence Andrews – the middle brother, resentful of his older brother and always ready to crack jokes at his expense
Patrick Andrews - baby brother of the other two, nervous and anxious
Peggy Jones – a WWII pin-up girl that longs to show everyone she’s more than just another pretty face. Warm, loving and sincere.

🎶 Ensemble Roles:
Army Soldier
Navy Sailor
Air Force Pilot
Swing Dancers
WACs (Women’s Army Corps)
AFRS Radio Host
Dinah Shore Cameo
Base Commanding Officer
Canteen Volunteers
Island kids

We’re looking for actors, singers, and dancers who can embody the camaraderie and optimism of the era. Period style and enthusiasm encouraged — teamwork and spirit are essential.

Prepare 30-60 seconds of a song that showcases your voice. Bring a Karaoke track or sing acapella. Hope to see you at the Open House and the auditions!

Friday 7pm (box office opens at 6:30pm)
Saturday 4pm (box office opens at 3:30pm)
Sunday 2pm (box office opens at 1:30pm)

🎬 Inn-Cognito! behind the scenes

Did you know it actually takes a village to sustain a local community theatre? 🎭

We are very grateful for the myriad of ways the Gordon Family supports Peninsula Players and their productions! 🫶

This local family of 6 (two family members not pictured) really fill the gaps in the most delightful, helpful, willing and fun ways. ✨

Meet Faith, Jesse, Stacie & Lilah (Joey and Zeke not pictured).

Stacie, Faith and Lilah were in the recent production of Godspell. And Jesse was an integral part of filling whatever gaps were present during production which was awesome!

During this current production of Inn-Cognito, we have Stacie and Faith doing makeup, and all four of them helping with refreshments or other duties as the need arises.

This family illustrates what makes a community thrive and we are very thankful for all their contributions!

Pro-tip: you can see them often at the Moose for karaoke and they are all VERY talented!

And Fun Fact: Joey runs Berta's Shave Ice and Kettle Corn stand in Ocean Park! 🎭🎤 🍿 ✨🙏🏻
