Please join us at Mountain Pottery for Dr. T’s free pottery demonstration Sunday October 11 at 1:00. This is a special one as it will be his last for a while. Dr. T is taking a break through the end of the year. We will follow his demonstration with a special celebration of his birthday. Friends, neighbors, pottery aficionados all are welcome.
In place of the monthly free pottery demonstration Mountain Pottery will be offering free (just $5 per piece firing fee) mini pottery workshops starting Sunday October 18 from 1-2. Our first workshop will be making ceramic miniatures. Check out Art Dept Tiny Gallery for inspiration.

I didn’t even have a chance to display these beauties in the shop. They were snapped up shortly after being dropped off by the talented Potter, Amit Cohen. Come check out what else he has created as well as beautiful and functional pottery from a dozen other local potters.

Best selling flower frogs! Why are they so popular?
1) they’re so functional, they do a great job of corralling fresh picked flowers in any vase or vessel.
2) they’re beautiful, many bright colors and neutral glazes to choose from.
3) they’re unique, easy to create a one-of-a-kind table scape.
4) they’re the perfect gift, present them with a fun vessel and some flowers for a fun and practical gift.
5) they’re easy to travel with or to ship, buy a bunch as fun souvenirs from Idyllwild
And best of all
6) they’re affordable, buy one for yourself and more as gifts.
Enjoy!
