What happens with all of the leftover food that doesn’t get eaten over the holidays?? Yesterday we packaged and distributed 180 meals to unhoused people in the Denver community with leftovers from our big passover seder! A big thank you to everyone who helped. “Hi Everyone! This is Tomer (aka Tomar/Dino) and I’m SO happy to be back again this summer as an SIT Coordinator!!
I am so ready for this upcoming summer, can’t wait to have an awesome time in the mountains and I am really excited for my new role, we’re going to take the SIT program to new heights (even higher than 10,200ft)! Can’t wait so see you all and thrilled to get my peak 3 this year! SEE YOU SOON IN THE ROCKIES!”

Meet our new Program Director, Asher!!

Asher is SO excited to be a part of the Shwayder team for the 2025 summer. Shwayder Camp is at the core of Asher’s Jewish identity; they spent 9 years as a camper, 1 year as an SIT, and another as a counselor. “To be able to return to Shwayder once again is such a blessing, especially as the new Programming Director!”
