What an incredible weekend for our Center Stage Theatre family at the Patty Duke Awards!
We are beyond proud to celebrate some truly outstanding accomplishments from these talented performers representing Southeast Idaho on one of the biggest stages in high school theatre.
Congratulations to Benjamin Strock for winning Best Actor in the entire state of Idaho, and Dru Brower for winning Best Actress! Both will now travel to New York City this June to compete at the Jimmy Awards — often referred to as the Tony Awards for high school theatre.
Both Benjamin and Dru also received $2,000 scholarships to Boise State University to pursue any field of study. What an amazing achievement and well-deserved honor!
You can watch them represent Idaho on the live stream on June 22!
Congratulations as well to Milee Dayley for receiving the Outstanding Dancer Award — a brand new award this year, making her the very first recipient! Milee also earned a $1,000 scholarship to Boise State University in any field of study.
The talent coming out of Southeast Idaho continues to shine brighter every year, and these awards are proof of the passion, dedication, and heart within our arts community. We are so proud of all of our students, directors, families, and supporters who continue to show just how important the arts are in shaping confidence, creativity, leadership, and community.
Congratulations again to these incredible performers — your Center Stage family is cheering you on all the way to New York! 🎭
