Announcing Auditions for “A Christmas Carol” The Musical!

Tuesday, September 22 and Wednesday, September 23 from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM at Center Stage Theatre 3175 North Lockheed Circle, Idaho Falls, ID 83401

We are seeking talented individuals for a variety of roles! ALL ROLES ARE AVAILABLE. We intend to fully DOUBLE CAST this show due to the vigorous schedule of a Christmas Show at Center Stage, and to allow individuals and families participating to better enjoy the holiday season while still participating. Single Casting for those interested will still be available(though a swing/understudy situation will be implemented in these cases).

Double Cast Stipend – $150(between 16–20 performances)

Single Cast Stipend – $300(between 32–40 performances)

Center Stage Theatre is committed to casting the very best actors for each role. All roles for A Christmas Carol are open to anyone regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, disability, orientation, socio-economic background, faith and age. Everyone is welcome and warmly encouraged to attend auditions. If a specific race/ethnicity/age or other characteristics are central to the story, we will make this clear in the character descriptions provided in the attachment in our bio.

AGES 6+ (PLEASE READ CHARACTER AGES AND DESCRIPTIONS IN THE LINK ON THE SIGN-UP)

AUDITION INSTRUCTIONS WILL BE IN THE SIGN UP LINK

Rehearsals will begin Wednesday, September 30th.

Performance dates will be November 25 – December 23 with showings every day at 7 PM(excluding Sundays)

*Matinees will be performed every Saturday at 1 PM with ADDITIONAL matinees at 1 PM on Friday 11/27, Friday 12/18, Monday 12/21, and Tuesday 12/22

**We are also anticipating adding matinees on each Saturday at 10 AM and additional matinees at 10 AM on Friday 11/27, Monday 12/21 and Tuesday 12/22.

NOTE: “A Christmas Carol” is a relatively short show and runs 1 hour and 30 minutes, including a 15 minute intermission. This version has music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Lynn Ahrens.

Whether your child is stepping onto the stage for the very first time or already has theater experience, this program is designed to welcome kids of all experience levels. It’s a wonderful way to discover the magic of theater, build confidence, develop performance skills, and have a whole lot of fun along the way ♥️

Our students get to learn from experienced directors and coaches, grow as performers and castmates, and perform on a beautiful stage with amazing costumes and professional theatrical production. 🎤🎶

We are thrilled to announce the Broadway Academy’s show for the Fall 2026 semester: Disney’s Dare to Dream Jr.!

Dare to Dream is chock-full of Disney favorites that are fun and inspirational. Your students will be given many opportunities to shine and we can’t wait to show them off! We are also putting a focus on education this semester. Our goal is to create well-trained, well-balanced performers, and to help students discover and nurture the thing they love to do!
