We are NOW HIRING our amazing staff for the upcoming summer movie season at the Motor Vu Drive-in in Idaho Falls!

We are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working, friendly, and committed team members for our 2026 movie and event season beginning in late May!

Hiring all positions: ticket booth, concession sales, kitchen, event staff, support staff and shift leaders. A few details:

- Work is evenings on weekends and some weekday evenings.

- Starting wage is $9/hr with excellent training and many great perks - bonuses, meals, movie tickets for friends/family, swag, and opportunities to learn new skills!

- We comply with Idaho and federal age laws for employment, which allows students 14+ to work limited hours. We do have very late night shifts and so we ask applicants about their late night ability to work and try to make sure it won’t conflict with school or other commitments.

To help us honor the Motor Vu’s history as Idaho’s oldest drive-in and as a thank you for the awesome community support we have received for 78 years (!!), we invite the community to come see The Goonies on the biggest screen in the country!

Summer drive-in season is winding down, and you have THREE more nights of drive-in magic to enjoy at the Motor Vu Drive-in in Idaho Falls in 2025! Here’s the rundown:

Throwback Thursday 8/21: The Neverending Story. Free admission!

Friday, 8/22: Summerween at the Motor Vu with a Friday Fright Night - see a double feature of the new I Know What You Did Last Summer (Rated R) and 28 Years Later (Rated R).

Saturday, 8/23: The Goonies is our FREE Community Night and end of season celebration!

We’ll be sharing more details about each night in separate posts throughout this week, but it’s going to be a great three nights of movies and fun.

Tickets are available NOW at www.idahomotorvu.com or at the box office when you arrive. You can get tickets for our Throwback Thursday, this weekend’s double feature, and our end-of-season Community Night on Saturday, 8/23.

THROWBACK THURSDAY continues this week with Dirty Dancing at the Motor Vu Drive-in in Idaho Falls on Thursday, August 14th! Free admission, gates open at 8 pm, and the movie starts 30 minutes after sunset.

You can reserve free tickets on our website at www.idahomotorvu.com or get free tickets at the gate when you arrive.

The SNACK BAR will be OPEN on Throwback Thursdays, serving delicious popcorn, burgers, grilled cheese, nachos, Reed’s Dairy Ice Cream (it’s new and it’s amazing!), and more! Also, did you know we have a gluten-free menu? As always, outside food and drink are not permitted without a fee and you keep the drive-in alive by enjoying our delicious food, and we get to feed you all the yummies!

Join us for the Drive Out Alzheimer’s event hosted by Visiting Angels - a meaningful evening complete with a great movie and an even greater cause.

Come out, support, and see THE NOTEBOOK on the big screen! Admission to the event is by carload, and you can support Visiting Angels by paying at the gate when you arrive.
