To all our friends and family, our mother, mother- in -law and grandmother, Sallie Osborne, passed into the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday morning, January 25th.
Momma had been doing very well. She was preparing for a trip prior to the snowstorm and had a massive aneurysm. Her passing is very unexpected as she was very active and kept a schedule of someone half her age! She would have celebrated her 85th birthday in May. Thank you to everyone for their love and prayers.
She was a special person with a wide variety of talent and interests. She will be remembered by the Bluegrass community for her 35 years of work with our family festivals.
Tentative arrangements are Saturday, Feb.7, 2026 with visitation at Walker Funeral Home, Hyden , Ky. from 11:00 to 1:00 pm and service following at 1:00. Dinner will follow the service at Central Presbyterian Church. God Bless you all.

The hometown show for The Creekers with special guests, The Moron Brothers and the Dean Osborne Band will now be held at the NIXON RECREATION CENTER, 150 Wendover Dr. Hyden, Ky. on Thursday, Nov.6, 2025.
Doors open at 5:30 and the show starts at 6:30. General seating (except reserved VIP) ....
TICKETS GO BACK ON SALE on sale for $20 each (limit 4 per customer) at the main branch of Hyden Citizens Bank starting at 12 noon, Friday, Oct. 24. Those with voucher cards can purchase at 10:00 AM. All tickets previously sold WILL BE HONORED at the door! No online or ticket resale.
