I’ve always been inspired by the Teton Mountain range- ever since I was a small child and my parents took our family there every year for vacation. I like to incorporate the Tetons in my paintings whenever possible, including this one. Actually, I love the Tetons so much we are selling our house in Utah and moving so we have a view of the Tetons every day. Anyone in the market for a home in northern Utah? Dm me 😄

Im excited to share this new piece that’ll be part of the Settlers West Summer Show tomorrow, May 2nd! 🎨 This oil painting portrays a dramatic moment of a warrior and his horse in full motion, full of dust, power, and emotion.
Sorry I’ve been a little AWOL lately… between all the time at the easel painting and getting my house ready to sell, things have been pretty crazy.
The show opens tomorrow in Tucson with a reception at 5:30pm and purchase draw at 7pm. You can see it (and the full exhibition) in person or online — link in my bio. I would love to hear what you think of this one.
