We are so excited to honor State Representative Rob Consalvo at Riverside Theatre Works’ 45th Anniversary Gala.

Rob has been a tremendous friend and supporter of RTW and a tireless advocate for Hyde Park and our community. We are incredibly grateful for all he has done to support our organization and the neighborhood we are so proud to call home.

So proud of our guy! If you don’t know him, this is Sam Nicolas - our resident sound designer and technical extraordinaire who makes all of our performers and students sound amazing. The man “behind the curtain” in our control booth making a lot of the magic you see on our stage from sound to projection design.

Last night, Sam won Best Sound Design for his incredible work on our production of Young Frankenstein, and we couldn’t be prouder. We are so blessed to have such an amazing team.

Congratulations, Sam! We love you and are so lucky to have you on the RTW team! 💜

Pat has truly been an angel to our organization and to the Hyde Park community, and we are incredibly grateful for all she has done for RTW over the years.

Our iconic marquee hasn’t always lit up Fairmount Avenue!
In 2001, after years of work by our Board of Directors, Riverside Theatre Works partnered with the Edward Ingersoll Browne Fund to bring a beautiful new marquee to our home — designed specifically to complement the historic French’s Opera House.

Many will recall the fabulous celebration that followed, when dozens of RTW students filled Fairmount Avenue, dancing in the street as the marquee was lit for the very first time. 💜✨

More than two decades later, it still shines as a symbol of RTW and our place in the Hyde Park community. Join us September 26 for our 45th Anniversary Gala as we celebrate this and so many more milestones from 45 incredible years.
