Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival

Downtown Hyattsville Arts Festival Enjoy over 100 exhibiting artists and artisans, Maryland breweries, food trucks and vendors, and liv The festival is expected to attract 5,000 visitors.

With a new venue incorporating 3 city blocks of downtown Hyattsville, “Arts & Ales” will take place on Saturday, September 17th, 2022, from 12:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The juried festival will feature over 100 exhibiting artists and artisans, Maryland craft breweries, food vendors, as well as a variety of performances, including music and dance. The event is free and family-friendly. Ales sales are by the glass, ages 21+.

There will be a Glow Room, a Game Show, a Caricaturist, a VR experience, an Instrument Petting Zoo, a Kiddo Disko, Fan making, a Comedy set, Screenprinting…and close to 100 artists with original artwork! Join us as we honor Stuart Eisenberg at the 17th Annual Hyattsville Arts Festival on Saturday, September 19.

Meet at the Main Stage at 1pm and join the Second Line, courtesy of DMV Percussion Academy and Joe Atkins of the Wild Anacostias, as we process through the festival grounds. Bring your instrument and join in as we wind through the streets, ending at the B**r Garden, where we’ll raise a glass in Stuart’s honor.

Stuart worked tirelessly to improve life in Hyattsville. One of his greatest contributions was the Hyattsville Arts Festival, which he started and is now in its 17th year. Under his leadership, the festival grew into a beloved community tradition…and a really good time. We’re endlessly grateful for the legacy he leaves behind. Let’s celebrate that together on Saturday, September 19.

We are super excited to have local muralists Ground Shift Studio come out to the Hyattsville Arts Festival on Saturday, September 19th! They will be creating a community chalk mural on Farragut Street during the event.
