Kwilibee Productions Theatre Company WELCOME TO KWILIBEE PRODUCTIONS

It is with great joy that we welcome you to Kwilibee Productions founded in March 2010.

We are dedicated to producing quality theatrical performances and cultural shows to promote the culture of the Caribbean and West Indians in the performing arts. Creators: Ruthven Davis was born, and grew up, in Marabella Trinidad. In 1981 the Trinidad and Tobago Association of Washington DC produced one of his plays; ‘The Gift of Hope’. Ruthven was involved in carnival production with Henderson Cooper in San Fernando, Trinidad during the 1960’s. He has used these two talents to write and produce ‘Is Carnival’ which was our inaugural production July 2010. Stranger from Wisdom Creek’ is the first of two of his plays in which he looks at religion and the folklore of Trinidad and Tobago. Diann Marshall is a native of Trinidad and Tobago. Started acting in major productions 1n 1968. Her credits include Macbeth, Junction Village and What the Butler Saw. On television she played Called to The Bar and Lets Laugh and Love Thy Neighbor. Her expertise also includes voice and dance. She has worked with Mudra Carib, Jambulay, and Groombay dance groups..
