Slippery Crockery by Caitlin Adams

Slippery Crockery by Caitlin Adams Slippery Crockery is a space for art, craft, and vintage things. And so much more. I hope you find a little something that suits you perfectly.

A thrift-store rat since I was a teenager in New York City; raised by an Australian mother who taught me to sew and to repair and/or save what could be reused; a visual gal who has always loved playing with clothing and with painting, though not usually at the same time. I find it inevitable that I have arrived here, at my little virtual shop of arts, vintage, and upcycled wares. I choose, restore, repair, and upcycle my pieces with great care and I love them all. If you are curious, my shop name, "Slippery Crockery," comes from a blurb on the back cover of my mother's first book of short stories, Lies and Stories: "Glenda Adams...captures her audience by the ease with which she handles the slippery crockery of life." The phrase always appealed to me, and it means so more than a plate that one might drop if one is not careful.
