We are proud to share that Tara has been named the recipient of the Third Annual MLK Action Team Racial Justice Advocacy Award!

Since launching Amplify POC in 2020, Tara has worked tirelessly to champion racial equity, uplift communities of color, POC-owned businesses, and help close the racial wealth gap on Cape Cod.

The Martin Luther King, Jr. Action Team, the racial justice arm of the Nauset Interfaith Association, invites the community to attend the Annual MLK Breakfast on Monday, January 19, 2026, honoring the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr..

🌟 This year’s keynote speaker is Rev. Liz Walker, journalist, pastor, and founder of the Can We Talk… Network, speaking about her 2025 book No One Left Alone: A Story of How Community Helps Us Heal. The program will also feature live music and singing, a student voice on civil rights, the presentation of the MLK Action Team Racial Justice Advocacy Award, and a special tribute to NIA co-founder, the late Rev. Ken Campbell.
